About Danielle
You can expect therapy with me to be supportive, respectful, warm, and focused. My approach is integrative, client-centered, compassionate, and grounded in psychological science. I incorporate methods from a wide range of therapy, coaching, communication, and mindfulness modalities. Before becoming a therapist, I spent 15+ years working as a biomedical engineer in Silicon Valley and I find that my background in R&D and product design gives me a unique approach to helping clients identify goals and create actionable plans for change.

Therapy Sessions, Fees, and Lower Cost Options
I offer teletherapy in California and in-person therapy in San Jose, CA. Initial consultations are free. Session structure, length, and frequency varies based on the client and their goals. 50-minute weekly video sessions are the most common starting structure. My rate for teletherapy is $225 per 50-minutes (+ $30 for in-person meetings to cover office rental). I have a limited number of sliding scale openings, which we can discuss during an initial consultation. I can also support you in lower cost therapy by pairing 1:1 individual sessions with on-demand courses and self-study. See the Lower Cost Therapy page for more details. I am not contracted with any insurance, but I am a provider with Modern Health, an employee Mental Health benefits provider.
Treatment Approaches
I offer client-centered, compassionate therapy grounded in the psychological science of change and human thriving. The approach is integrated, holistic, and personalized. It draws from a wide range of traditions - cognitive and behavioral approaches, mindfulness and meditation, compassion, communications, depth psychology, couples therapy, parent coaching, habit development, productivity.
